The Fargo DTC550-LC printer comes in many configurations to meet your current and future needs: duplex (dual-sided) printing, duplex printing with lamination, magnetic stripe encoding, smart card personalization, Ethernet connectivity and more!
Optional Ethernet. The Fargo DTC550-LC printer supports secure ID card issuance at multiple locations throughout your enterprise. With an Ethernet port and internal print server, your IT staff can install a DTC550-LC printer anywhere on a LAN. The Fargo DTC550-LC also features an optional Print Security software which gives your security team tight control over ID card printer access.
Standard lamination. With the Fargo DTC550-LC's inline lamination module, you are better able to protect your cards from forgery, tampering and physical wear. Overlaminates - especially those with holographics or microtext - add a layer of visual security to your cards, making it more difficult for counterfeiters to duplicate. They also make the card more durable to reduce swipe abrasion, dye migration and to shield against image-fading UV light.
Optional printer security. The Fargo DTC550-LC printer protects access and issuance throughout the enterprise. In a networked environment, it’s easy to think of the Fargo DTC550-LC as just another office printer; however, without proper security measures, it could be used to produce fraudulent ID cards. That makes Fargo’s optional Print Security software a critical part of any Fargo DTC550-LC printer.
Whether you choose the LAN-based Print Security Manager, or the stand-alone Print Security Suite, you’ll get applications that provide essential protection for the Fargo DTC550-LC printer and your entire card issuance system. The Print Security software adds password-controlled access to your printer. It can also notify key personnel via text or email message whenever printing is attempted outside of authorized hours.
Optional covert security measures. The Security Imaging application (also optional on the Fargo DTC550-LC printer with the Print Security Manager) adds covert visual security features to ID cards, taking card security to a higher level while providing card authentication data about the print event. This Print Security software, in conjunction with the Fargo DTC550-LC printer, gathers printer diagnostic data for troubleshooting, and can send an online order for Fargo Secure Materials to your Fargo SecureMark integrator.
